MY ART TO ME ARE LIKE THE EYES TO MY SOUL

Biography

Discovering I was able to draw and paint was a gift and a talent I had no idea existed until I was 30 years old. After visiting friends in Puerto Rico I noticed a friend had a beautiful piece which he later explained was his work. That was my motivation to pick up a pencil and sketch, years went by and I still had the desire to put my imagination on canvas. So I went to the art store got myself a starter kit and began sketching on canvas. Not having prior experience, nor art education, nor skill...I began seeing form and figure. Suddenly "Soledad" came to life, she was stunning...she was an accomplishment I never thought I would ever come across. Her beauty inspired me to continue on sketching and painting...as I continue doing it I can see the eyes to my soul through every piece I create. Now I put all of my ideas, imagination, and passion on canvas and love every minute of it. I hope you enjoy it also.
