Biography
A native to Wisconsin, Susan has lived there all her life and is currently based out of Neenah, Wisconsin. She has had a fascination with art since she was able to draw with a crayon at about 3 or 4 years of age. A love of art was brought to her life by her mother who has been a strong encouragement to her throughout her growing up years and even in adulthood. She had a strong art education in highschool and credits her teachers for sharing the enthusiasm of the creation of art with her. Beyond that, she is primarily self taught, but admits to having studied under other successful artists on occasion. Her greatest teacher she feels is observation of nature and her surroundings. Susan has also learned a great deal from reading, and studying work of other artists. Susan likes to paint what inspires her at the time, be it people, flowers, animals, or perhaps a theme or idea represented by imagery. The greatest gift to her from her art is that others find enjoyment in what she has created._____

INSTANT ART SHOWMAIN STREET ART WORKS, HILBERT,WI

28 artists will exhibit their work at Main Street Artworks, in Hilbert Wisconsin. I feel honored to have been invited to be a part of this exhibition. The theme of it is "Instant Art Show, Just add Art!" This should be an exiting and fun show. If you have never been to an art reception, they are lots of fun, so please come. If you have been to an art reception, come anyway because it will be fun to have you there as a part of it. The show will run till June 29th but the reception is only on Friday May 2nd. Each artist will have one piece of art exhibited in this show. I hope to see you there on May 2nd.

TRANSPARENT WATERCOLOR SOCIETY OF AMERICA EXHIBITION I feel very honored to announce that one of my paintings: "Summer Splash" has been juried into the exhibition for Transparent Watercolor Society of America! There were more than 900 entries to this year's competition, and of those only 85 pieces were chosen. The show opens on May 16, 2008 at the Bloomington Art Center located at: 1800 W. Old Shakopee Rd.
