Biography

Sheri Bartholow began drawing and painting as a child and has continued her love for creating art throughout her life. She studied art first at The Maryland College of Art & Design, then in Georgia at The Atlanta College of Art, where she received her B.F.A. She went on to study art education and eventually to earn her M.F.A. in painting from American University in Washington, D.C.

She has spent the last 20 years teaching art, managing art programs and creating art. She has a love of figure painting and portraiture, and in recent years has studied Botanical Art and found a passion of fine detail graphite work.

She is also a great lover of animals and most recently has been capturing that love in pet portraits. She is currently "owned" by two dogs, one cat, a bird and 3 goldfish.
