The Art of Arcola brings to you the images of times past, experiences, moments in time of loved ones and special places; the simple joys of childhood, the love of parents and friends. She strives to capture these images in hopes you will remember a moment or experience that brings you joy to reflect on. Her artistic mission is to leave the world a better place. To leave permanent images of a moment in time that will be beautiful and dateless, no matter the era.
Anne Hall (the artist Arcola) began drawing and painting in her early sixties after retiring from a successful career in engineering and construction management. She is self-taught and is inspired by the works of a diversity of artists. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are the inspiration for many of her works. The mother/child experience especially appeals to her. She experiments with styles, techniques and media and finds it an honor to be part of the explosion of art in the 20th and 21st century.
