PAINT IN ITALY!

Joint workshop with
William A. Schneider and
Lynn Gertenbach

Noted Plein Aire painter, Lynn Gertenbach, and OPA Signature Artist, William A. Schneider will teach a joint workshop in the beautiful Tuscan countryside in Italy September 29 - October 7, 2008. In this unique workshop structure, students will receive individual instruction from both artists. [In essence, this is two workshops in one: "Plein Aire Landscapes" and "Painting the Figure in the Landscape."] Seasoned travelers consider late September the optimal time to visit Tuscany. Non-painting companions are welcome at the workshop.

The group will be based in a luxurious villa near the mediaeval village of Cortona, made famous in Under the Tuscan Sun. Instruction and local logistics will be in English. On day five the group will go to Florence.....for a museum tour and even more inspiration.
